Dreamweaver course in north London

Introduction to InDesign (Level 1)

Adobe InDesign has all the features and flexibility that you'll need to publish professional-quality layouts for brochures, newsletters, reports. Whether you're new to layout design or making the switch from another similar program like Quark express, our Adobe InDesign course will provide you with the skills to use the software effectively.

It's totally hands-on. You will learn type controls, graphics file management, layers and document setup.
Whether you are a designer, prepress professional or just a beginner, you will find InDesign to be a powerful but intuitive page layout application.

This course is intended for designers, publishers, pre-press professionals, marketing communications professionals, or people switching to a design job or taking on design responsibilities, Graphic professionals who need an essential understanding of page layout using Adobe’s flagship page layout application, with an emphasis on real-world issues.

The amount of material covered in class is quite vast (see outline below). It's therefore required that students are comfortable using a mouse, opening/ saving files and with the general operation of computers. While we will make every reasonable effort to help, students with insufficient skills still wanting to take this course should first consider undertaking an IT skills course so as to not slow down the rest of the class.
