DigiTrain Digital Competence Framework

Two competence  Frameworks have been developed identifying the digital competences required by adults and adult educators, to form the bases for developing appropriate digital training programmes.

Digital Competence Framework for Adult Educators

The Digital Competence Framework for Adult Educators, builds upon, adapts and extends the DigiCompEDu to meet the specific needs of adult educators and identifies the specific learning outcomes associated with each competence, in terms of the knowledge, skills, values and attitudes that adult educators are require to support adult learners develop digital competence.

Digital Competence Framework for Adults

The Framework consists of Competence Areas, which are broad categories of competences that adults are expected to develop. Each competence area is accompanied by a Competence Statement which is a description of the competence adults are expected to develop, followed by the Learning Outcomes which have been formulated and expressed in terms of the Knowledge, Skills, Attitudes and Values to demonstrate achievement of the competence.
